Can someone tell me what the difference is between
www.yahoo.com
Yahoo Directory
Yahoo Search Submit?
Am I right in thinking that Yahoo Search Submit is a tool to submit your site to the Yahoo Directory which feeds the results when you search on www.yahoo.com?
Thanks Teeny

yahoo.com is the portal page/search of Yahoo
Yahoo directory is Yahoo's directory, $300 per year to be listed, highly adviced you do get listed
Yahoo search submit is where you can submit your site to Yahoo, to be honest, I wouldn't bother submiting your site as Yahoo will find your site via links to it

Hi - thanks for that.
When I go to the Yahoo Directory [link] and type in my domain name I get 1 result for my domain name. It is in the correct category but the description is wrong - so I have gone through the process of submitting an updated description. Is there any way I can get all pages of my site listed in the Yahoo Directory - or do I have to pay for each one?
Thanks again

I don't think they'd list every page, even if you paid them.
It's a *directory*, not a search engine; directories, by and large, list sites, with few exceptions.
If you want every page listed in Yahoo!'s *search engine*, it's a matter of SEO, no submission is necessary or worth the effort.
