Hello,
A quick question(s)... how do SEO profit from Blog Commentary Submissions?
Some blogs don't allow links? so therefore provide no backlinks... then the comment would be more for branding/buzz marketing, or does it still help SEO efforts?
Some blogs who Do allow links offer the obvious back links for SEO efforts, but what other benefits are there?
Thanks for your feedback,
T.

Most decent blogs use nofollow; most blogs that don't have little link value.
Blog links are severely overrated. Since spammers moved in on an industrial scale, the search engines have got wiser.
There is a broad marketing value, for yourself and / or your brand.
And from good blogs, there'll be a few direct referrals.
And that's about it. The obsession was just calming down when the "Internet 2.0 / social networking" twaddle came along, suddenly it's the bees knees all over again. For a while

It's true that the weight of rel="nofollow" links is less, but they are still valid and google blogsearch picks up those comments as well.
The priority should be:
* Blogs that rank well for the keywords that you are targeting (that's more important than page rank)
* Blogs with high traffic
* Blogs with no rel="nofollow"
The ultimate goal should be to get other people blogging about your posts. That will get you the real juice.
Hope that helps
Yours
John

I do blog commenting a lot.I think this one of the best way on getting backlinks.My site went up to #6 in MSN on my keyword.My site is just 1 month old.So I guess we should consider commenting to blogs.But dont also forget the power of forums.

thats considered spamming actually and most blogs have the nofollow tag so a post comment with a link would just be a waste

On the other hand, Blog Comments with the no-follow attribute can help you with your site's traffic.. that would only be done if you are able to contribute well to the blog post.

Blog commenting is good so longer as you are advising others to solve their problems,you will get more traffic to your website but select those good sites only.
Remember to use capturing words.For us we are using
