I have found my self in the position of consulting to godaddy on the various issues that members of this and other forums are having with godaddy hosting.
They know they have issues and are making a serious effort to address them.
Post all of your issues related to SEO and hosting and I will discuss them with godaddy.

I agree, I did so much complaining and postings that they contacted me and asked me for my phone number, then they called and we spoke several times. They really are interested in fixing their issues. To say the least, I was quite surprised and amazed. They actually listened to what I had to say. I'm interested in what everyone else has to say as my opinion may be a bit myopic.
We have their ear, lets fill it.

the power of 'word of mouth' and negative opinions on the web is bad for someones reputation if you google'godaddy' there is a site on the first serp's that is about how godaddy sucks

Many moons ago I was a go daddy customer and due to their issues, I changed hosts. I did not have the time to be patient while they fixed things.
I do have a few customers who still use go daddy ( though truthfully I encourage them not to ), and as long as we are talking very basic control panel needs they are "OK" but hit MYSQL and such and what a mess!
In my opinion they are not ready to handle much more then domain name selling and very basic web hosting.
